About Us

Welcome to myAfrican Affairs!

myAfrican Affairs is a news and multi-media portal, publishing all issues related to the motherland Africa. It launched in 2006 and operated until 2009 when it stopped operating due to some challenges. However, in late 2019, myAfrican Affairs relaunched under a new website to continue where it had stopped.

Africa is our motherland. As Africa’s children, both at home and in the diaspora, it is our responsibility to be passionate about creating a better Africa. Recently, myAfrican Affairs unleashed several tools and resources, including the African Affairs Radio. The online radio station brings up to date news, music, and entertainment from Africa and the African Diaspora. Soon, we shall incorporate job postings, classifieds, and social networks to our visitors.

As Dr. Kwame Nkrumah once said during Ghana's Independence speech in 1957, "Our independence is meaningless unless it is linked up with the total liberation of Africa.” MyAfrican Affairs hopes that the rest of African countries shall emulate the successes of any member state of the African Union and similarly learn from the failures experienced by any of the countries. MyAfrican Affairs exists to promote the African culture, stories, fashion, technology, and our heritage at large to help guide the African youth both at home and abroad.

Mission Statement
“To promote and enhance the African heritage within our motherland Africa and beyond.”

Vision Statement
“To be the media house that focuses on Africa, telling the true African story to the world, promoting the African heritage while at the same time highlighting the challenges faced by Africans and contributing to providing sustainable solutions.”

Thank you for visiting myAfrican Affairs and we welcome you to visit again.
